Welcome to our HO scale (1:87) model railroad layout that can be displayed at events that support the model railroading hobby.
The layout was built by members of the Southwest Washington Model Railroaders in the early 1980's at the request of the Clark County Historical Society for display in their museum. It was displayed in the museum until 2006. It has since been removed to support renovation of the museum and installation of an elevator. A new layout will be built to fit the rearranged location when the renovation is completed.
The highly detailed historic layout is six by twelve feet in size and models the Spokane, Portland, and Seattle Railroad in four settings; Vancouver Station, Maryhill, and two other locations in the Columbia Gorge.
This layout is available for display and operation at swap mets, railroad conventions and other events that want a high quality railroad display that has ties to the Pacific Northwest. An inside display area of twelve by eighteen feet is required with electrical power available.
